Long-Term Live-Out Placement Fees
Tier 1
- Application Fee (one-time): $375
- Annual Fee: 12% of annual gross compensation* or minimum of $1600, whichever is greater
- Guarantee: 60 days
- Backup care: None
- Drug screening: None
- Credit check: None
- Payroll services: Not included
Tier 2
- Application Fee (one-time): $375
- Annual Fee: 14% of annual gross compensation* or minimum of $1600, whichever is greater
- Guarantee: 90 days
- Backup care: 5 days
- Drug screening: 10 panel
- Credit check: None
- Payroll services: Not included
Tier 3
- Application Fee (one-time): $375
- Annual Fee: 15% of annual gross compensation* or minimum of $1600, whichever is greater
- Guarantee: 180 days
- Backup care: 10 days
- Drug screening: 10 panel + random
- Credit check: Included
- Payroll services: 3 free months
* Our fees are based on your employee’s total gross compensation. This is your employee’s pay before taxes and other deductions are withheld from their wages. Total gross compensation is calculated by multiplying the rate of pay by number of hours worked plus time-and-a-half for any overtime hours.
Average weekly rates
The rates below detail the average amount you will be expected to pay your nanny and/or other household employee:
- Full-time (Live-out) $800 – $1000 / week
- Nanny Share $500 – $600 / week
Other Factors – Paying Live-Out Nannies
• NYS minimum wage is $15 per hour (outside of NYC).
• Housekeeping duties are generally paid extra
• These charges are in GROSS wages (before taxes)
• Employer taxes are an additional 10-11% of gross wages
• Employee withholding taxes are generally 20-30% of gross wages on a full-time salary
• You negotiate the wages and payment method directly with the caregiver
Long-Term Live-In Placement Fees
Live-In Agency Fee (by placement)
- Application Fee (one-time): $375
- Buy-out option of 13% of employee’s annual salary
Average weekly rates
The rates below detail the average amount you will be expected to pay your nanny and/or other household employee:
- Full-time (Live-in) $500 – $700 / week (Plus figure an additional cost of $50 / week in utilities and food.)
- Nanny Share $350 – 500 / week

• These charges are in GROSS wages (before taxes)
• Employer taxes are an additional 10-11% of gross wages

Short-Term Service Fees
Note that a 4-hour minimum service is required for all short-term placements.
Short Term Placement Fees
- Annual Membership Fee $275
- Emergency Backup Care Membership Fee $250
Agency Fees (by placement)
- Placement booked with at least 48 hours’ notice: $35 / day
- Placement booked with less than 48 hours’ notice: $40 / day
- Same day service: $50
- Emergency backup care: $60
- Holidays: $45 / day
The rates below detail the average amount you will be expected to pay your nanny and/or other household employee:
- Part-time $18-$25 / hour
- Overnights $100 / evening
- Tutoring $30 / hour
