Background Screening Process

A New England Nanny screens its candidates rigorously with a Comprehensive Screening Process which includes:
- Submission of a 13 -page application form
- Thorough two-part interview including phone and face-to-face meetings
- Comprehensive reference check of professional references
- Criminal background check with sex offender registry
- Department of Motor Vehicle check
- Drug screening
- Social security check (permanent placement only)
- Orientation of our policies, procedures, and process
Candidates must also:
- Have at least 2 years of recent relevant professional experience
- Speak fluent English
- Have proof of citizenship or evidence that they may legally work in the US
- Have valid and clean driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Be at least 18 years of age
