National Nanny Recognition Week (NNRW) is September 20-26, 2026. NNRW is a week during which families, businesses, and the media will be encouraged to celebrate the positive aspects of the nanny profession, the important role nannies play in the lives of the families and the wonderful contribution they make in the lives of the children they care for.

In honor of this exciting week, here are just a few of our nannies that we want to recognize. Please make sure to follow our social media channels during NNRW (well, and all year too) - we'll be posting fun things every day to celebrate!

Amy Byrd

Amy has been a nanny with A New England Nanny for more than four years. She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Newborn Care Specialist certification, and postpartum doula training. We can attest to her exceptional qualities and skills working in childcare/eldercare. Amy has worked with several families throughout the years and formed lasting bonds. In addition to her job skills, Amy possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. She is a dedicated and reliable individual who consistently goes beyond expectations. Amy has demonstrated her ability to take the initiative by keeping in contact with our office in reference to any new work that may be coming in that she can help with, and she keeps her schedule updated. She has been an amazing asset to our agency and we are grateful to have her as part of our team.

Her goal is to become a school therapist and work with children ages 5 to 20. She truly values caring for others and is helping raise her two little sisters. Arden is one of the most attentive, patient, and compassionate nannies we have worked with. Her dedication and professionalism as a nanny are unwavering. She creates a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel comfortable being themselves. We value the strong relationships she has built with agency, the children, and the families she has cared for. We are grateful to have her be a part of our agency and we are proud to recognize all the hard work and effort she has put in.
